Position Description:

Half-Day Secondary Art Teacher

Campus Principal

Position Summary:

The secondary half-day Art teacher is responsible in leading a dynamic and engaging Art program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive environment where students will develop knowledge of core academic subjects assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

Knowledge of core academic subject assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instructional best practices Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and mixed platforms Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with student, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas teaching certificate accordance with Texas Education Code Chapter 21. New teachers and experienced educators are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Attributes:

Successful candidates are reflective practitioners who value teamwork, consistency, and positive relationships with students and colleagues. Experience with structured lesson design and differentiated instruction is highly desirable.

Compensation:

Salary and benefits are provided in accordance with the district compensation plan, board policy, and applicable Texas Education Code requirements.
