In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, develop comprehensive curricula, and create a nurturing environment that encourages self-expression and artistic exploration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and specialized art education techniques . This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' artistic journeys while promoting their overall growth and confidence. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative art curricula tailored to diverse student needs, including preschoolers, toddlers, and children requiring special education support Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate various art mediums, techniques, and cultural themes to stimulate creativity Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior, safety, and inclusive participation Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art projects with literacy education, physical education, and other core subjects Assess student progress through observations, and portfolio reviews; provide constructive feedback to support growth Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student achievements, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development with experience in arts education for early childhood settings Proven ability to work with children across different developmental stages Expertise in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment Experience in lesson planning that integrates art with literacy education and other foundational skills Excellent communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while encouraging creativity and self-expression Understanding of childhood development principles relevant to art instruction and overall welfare Join us in shaping young minds through the power of art!
