Aug 20, 2026 Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and creative Fine Arts Teacher to join our high school team for a one-year position, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a variety of art courses, including an Introduction to Fine Arts and a specialized Fiber Arts course. Candidates should be passionate about fostering creativity, building strong relationships with students, and contributing positively to the school community.

Qualifications:

Valid Vermont Educator's License (7-12 Art) or eligibility for Vermont licensure. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field. Experience in proficiency-based instruction and assessment. Familiarity with Infinite Campus or willingness to learn. Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and teach engaging, standards-based fine arts curriculum, including introductory courses and fiber arts. Implement proficiency-based instruction and reporting. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student creativity and artistic expression. Provide constructive feedback and support student growth in artistic techniques and conceptual thinking. Participate in school-wide events, exhibits, and activities that showcase student artwork.
