Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Art Coordinator at our vibrant Boys & Girls Club, where creativity and education come together to inspire young minds. In this energetic role, you will lead engaging arts programs that foster artistic expression, and personal growth among children and youth. Your passion for arts education, combined with excellent organizational skills, will help create a welcoming environment where every child can explore their artistic talents and develop essential skills. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative programming and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities Develop and implement diverse arts curricula, including visual arts, theater, dance, photography, sewing, and culinary arts, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Plan and coordinate engaging art activities that promote creativity, and self-expression. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, positive behavior, and inclusive participation for all children. Lead instructional sessions in various art forms. Oversee the setup of art supplies and materials, ensuring all resources are available and maintained for smooth program delivery. Collaborate with staff and community partners to design special events like art exhibitions or performances that showcase children's work. Provide mentorship and support to children during activities, encouraging confidence and skill development through effective classroom management and behavior guidance.
Schedule:
Monday 12:15pm-6:00pm, Tuesday-Friday 1:30pm-6:00pm Summer hours may vary
Pay:
$17.13 per hour
