Job Description The ESOL/Bilingual Teacher provides high-quality instruction in English and, when appropriate, in students' native languages to support English Learners (ELs) in achieving academic success. This position focuses on developing students' English language proficiency, supporting content learning, and fostering cultural understanding. The teacher will collaborate closely with colleagues, administrators, and families to ensure students transition successfully into the regular education program.

Creating a welcoming, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued. Partnering with colleagues and families to strengthen support beyond the classroom. The heart of this work is guiding students toward English proficiency, academic success, cultural understanding, and empowering them to transition confidently into the regular education program and beyond.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in English and students' native language (when applicable). Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners with varying levels of English proficiency. Develop and implement assessments to monitor language acquisition and academic progress. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and administrators to align instruction and support services. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to support student learning and progress. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress in compliance with district and state requirements. Participate in professional development to stay current on best practices for teaching English Learners.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Valid teaching certification withESOL/TESOL
endorsement and/or Bilingual Education endorsement (as required by state). Proficiency in English and at least one other language spoken by the student population. Strong knowledge of second language acquisition and culturally responsive teaching practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Preferred Skills:
Experience working with English Learners in diverse educational settings. Familiarity with ELPA, or other English language proficiency standards/assessments. Ability to integrate technology to enhance instruction and language development.Bilingual Work Environment:
Full-time teaching position within a collaborative school environment. Regular engagement with students, families, and staff across diverse cultural backgrounds.Job Type:
