We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School Humanities Teacher who is bilingual in Mandarin and English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English Language Arts and/or Social Studies at the high school level, and experience in preparing students for standardized exams such as the SAT and TOEFL . This position requires excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, a deep understanding of the humanities, and a dedication to fostering critical thinking and cross-cultural awareness in students.Key Responsibilities:
Teach high school-level English and/or Social Studies courses to bilingual students. Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that support academic growth and language development. Provide targeted preparation for SAT Reading/Writing and/or TOEFL exams, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and essay writing. Create a culturally inclusive classroom environment that supports bilingual learning and global perspectives. Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum goals and share best teaching practices. Maintain accurate records of student performance and submit progress reports as required.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in Education, English, History, Social Studies, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the high school level. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. Experience teaching SAT and/or TOEFL preparation is highly preferred. Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional skills. Familiarity with U.S. high school curriculum standards and assessment practices. Passionate about education and committed to student success.Preferred Qualifications:
