We are currently seeking in-person substitute ESL teachers for morning, afternoon and evening shifts at our main campus in Irvine. 1. The morning classes run from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Thursday. 2. The Intensive Business English class runs from 1:40 pm to 10:35 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 2. The evening class schedule runs from 5:30 pm to 10:20 pm Monday through Wednesday and 5:30 pm to 8:20 pm on Thursdays. Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Develop individual lesson plans that align with the school curriculum Teach adult international students in-person with average class size of 10-15 students Design engaging and interactive lessons for adult ESL learners Assign homework and projects to students via our online platform Administer quizzes and tests Grade students' work and provide constructive feedback Record attendance and grades using the school's system Submit monthly / quarterly reports for private tutoring students Attend bi-quarterly faculty meetings & participate in professional development Teacher Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; preferably in the Education field Teaching ESL certificates / credentials 1+ years ESL/EFL teaching experience (preferred) Strong communication and presentation skills Computer proficiency: MS Office, Google Classroom and Cambridge One Ability to learn and navigate new online platform Thank you for reading through the entire ad.
