Description Crespi Carmelite High School seeks a
SUMMER SCHOOL SPANISH
teacher to join the World Language Department for the 2026 SUMMER
SCHOOL SESSION.
Crespi offers Spanish 1 and 2 for students seeking remediation during Summer School. We are seeking an experienced instructor who comes ready with a plan and materials to facilitate an effective remediation on a short runway: Summer School starts June 15. Crespi Carmelite High School, established in Encino, California in 1959, serves male high school age students.

To build men of character and faith unified in brotherhood and formed through a contemporary, Catholic, college preparatory education in the Carmelite tradition of prayer, community, and service.

To be a dynamic learning community where tradition and innovation prepare Crespi Men for success in all facets of life.
Requirements Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required; teaching credential preferred; teaching experience preferred. Proficiency in the use of technology as it relates to daily school operations, instruction, and communication.
Duties:
Support and seek always to fulfill the guiding Catholic mission of the school, ministering to school community members in the tradition of the Carmelites. Create, manage, and offer a variety of learning experiences that provide opportunities for students to develop their potential and achieve their learning objectives. Apply research-based practices to establish a boy-friendly learning environment that is inclusive of multiple intelligences. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote the general well-being of the department and the school as well as the collective and individual interest of school faculty, staff, and student body. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
