Job Description

Santa Margarita Catholic High School is accepting applications for an American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. Santa Margarita Catholic High School offers a coeducational, college-preparatory education developing students who are people of faith, skilled lifelong learners, healthy individuals and involved citizens of the world. Under the leadership of the Diocese of Orange, the school's 420-acre campus is nestled in the picturesque Saddleback Valley Mountains in Rancho Santa Margarita. Santa Margarita Catholic High School seeks to bring the nurturing charism of Caritas Christi - the love of Christ - to our community of faith and learning. Centered in this charism, we work jointly with each other and parents to provide an educational experience that incorporates compassion, humility, justice, and goodness, and the Santa Margarita learning outcomes below: Religious and spiritual formation Intellectual and academic development Physical and personal growth Social awareness and moral development We seek to encourage in our students a positive sense of self-worth, self-discipline, personal responsibility, successful interpersonal relationships, commitment to Gospel values, and a desire to contribute positively to both the global community and the immediate society in which they live.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Interested candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a California Teaching Credential or a master's degree in related field. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively, participate in shared decision-making, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate proficiency with technology.
Pay range:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Placement on the Faculty Salary Scale. This is a 10-month position. Full-time roles include benefits as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
