Compensation:
$45/hour (dependent on experience)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 12PM•6PM (30 hours/week)

Position Type:
Long-Term About the Position A warm, quiet, and loving family in San Francisco is seeking an experienced, bilingual newborn nanny to join their household long-term. The family has recently welcomed a newborn and is looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide attentive infant care during this special season. Their 6-year-old child attends school during the day, making newborn care the primary focus of your time. Ideal Candidate You are calm, gentle, patient, collaborative, and highly experienced with newborns. This role is perfect for a professional nanny who loves supporting families through the infant stage and creating a peaceful, nurturing environment for babies to thrive. Responsibilities Pick up the family's 6-year-old daughter from school and provide attentive after-school care. Transport the child to activities and appointments as needed. Supervise homework, playtime, and daily routines until parents take over. Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child. Complete children's laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens. Wash and sterilize baby bottles, pump parts, and other feeding equipment. Refill diaper stations and restock diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials. Organize baby clothing by size and maintain orderly nursery storage systems. Load and unload the dishwasher and tidy the kitchen after meals. Empty trash and recycling and help maintain clean, organized common areas. Run occasional household errands, such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, or other family-related tasks.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience with significant, verifiable newborn care experience.
Approach:
Calm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned caregiving style.
Collaboration:
Comfortable working productively alongside work-from-home parents.
Certifications:
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
Vaccinations:
Must be current on TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella (Chickenpox), and Hepatitis B.
References:
Must provide excellent professional childcare references.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:
$45+/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Commuting Support:
Waymo transportation support provided when applicable.
Paid Sick Time:
40 hours (5, 8-hour days) per year (accrues/kicks in after 90 days). Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks of PTO (kicks in after 90 days).
Paid Holidays:
New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
