Job Description

Company Overview The French-American School of Silicon Valley is dedicated to fostering a dual-immersion educational experience for students from preschool to 8th grade. With accreditation from the French Ministry of Education and the California Association of Independent Schools, we prioritize critical thinking, academic excellence, respect, and lifelong learning. Planning and teaching Spanish language and culture to our 2-8 students in a developmentally appropriate manner, with an emphasis on differentiating instruction.

  • Creating an inclusive and positive environment to promote learning.
  • Conducting classes and scholarly work with integrity, and modeling exceptional character for students.
  • Employing the latest instructional technology, while not relying solely on it.

  • Sharing in school duties and assignments.
  • Building connections with colleagues in order to grow and develop, as well as sharing talents.
  • Being a positive and contributing member of the professional community.
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; teaching credential preferred. Proven experience in teaching Spanish at an elementary level.
