Until filled Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades 9-12 ESL teacher(s) for its 2026 Summer School program. The Secondary Summer School will be located at Greenwich High School, and will run from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. Grades 9-12 ESL teachers will work 8:15-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time. An additional preparation day will occur on June 29, 2026. Grades 9-12 ESL teachers must be certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Grades PreK-12 (#111). Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association. Positions are dependent on student enrollment. Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
