Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor fluent in both English and Spanish to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience across various healthcare settings, including critical care, nursing homes, hospitals, and teaching hospitals. This role involves delivering comprehensive training to aspiring CNAs, emphasizing patient care, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations. The instructor will foster an engaging learning environment that prepares students for successful careers in healthcare while ensuring compliance with all safety and privacy standards. Duties Develop and deliver engaging bilingual instructional content tailored to diverse student populations in both English and Spanish. Facilitate classroom discussions, practical skills labs, and enhance student learning outcomes. Assess student performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and ongoing feedback to ensure competency in CNA skills. Provide mentorship and support to students throughout their training journey, fostering confidence and professionalism. Stay updated on industry standards related to home care, and nursing home practices to ensure curriculum relevance. Requirements Prior nursing home or hospital experience with a strong understanding of patient care Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively in both English and Spanish languages. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage training schedules and maintain detailed records. Certification as a CNA with active licensure; additional credentials in nursing or healthcare education are a most.
