French Teacher

We are currently seeking a French Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at an independent school in Jacksonville, FL.

French Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach several sections of French courses at various proficiency levels for middle or upper school students. Develop engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students. Teach French language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods. Organizing fun events where students can showcase their French language skills. Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success. Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education.

French Teacher Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred. Proven written and verbal proficiency in French. At least 2-3 years of previous K-12 teaching experience. No teaching license or credential is required. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community. Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities.

Additional Desired Qualities:

Knowledge of ACTFL standards preferred. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
