Instructor of Spanish

Florida Southern College is seeking applications for a one semester visiting position to teach courses in Spanish at the first and second-year level. Applicants who are interested in being considered for a visiting instructor position should submit their resume with the completed employment application. About our ideal candidate The minimum academic qualification to teach at FSC is a Master's degree that includes 18 graduate hours in the language the applicant desires to teach. Terminal degreed applicants are preferred. Three years of higher education teaching experience is preferred. CV or resume and a copy of unofficial transcripts must be provided with employment application. Candidate official transcripts must be on file within 3 days of the start of a teaching assignment. Please request official transcripts from all colleges and university work (showing the highest degree earned) and have them sent to the attention of the Dr. Susan Serrano, Dean of Arts and Sciences, at 111 Lake Hollingsworth Dr., Lakeland, Fl 33801. Applicants who receive their degrees outside the U.S. are required to have their transcript (s) evaluated by an approved educational evaluation service. This evaluation must be done at your own expense prior to being considered for employment by Florida Southern College.
