Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with language proficiency standards and educational best practices. Design and implement engaging lessons that incorporate technology, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and facilitate communication with students and parents. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with disabilities or special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing, quizzes, and oral assessments. Provide individualized tutoring and support to help students improve literacy, vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a respectful, motivating atmosphere that encourages active participation from all learners. Qualifications Proven classroom experience teaching Italian or Spanish at various levels, including beginner to advanced. Strong background in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles and needs. Familiarity with Learning Technology tools such as LMS platforms and digital resources for language instruction. Experience working with children or young adults in private school settings or Montessori environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques. Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues clearly and professionally. Ability to incorporate literacy education strategies alongside math integration when applicable. Demonstrated writing skills for lesson planning documentation and student feedback reports.
