Passionate about sharing Mandarin language and culture? Life International Academy is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to inspire students through language, culture, music, stories, games, hands-on activities, and meaningful real-world experiences. This is not a traditional language teaching position. Our students learn on a beautiful 3-acre nature-based campus where language is connected to culture, community, creativity, and life skills. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, believes learning should be joyful, and wants to help students develop a love for Mandarin and global cultures. Responsibilities Teach Mandarin to students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons using games, music, stories, projects, and hands-on activities Introduce students to Mandarin language and Chinese-speaking cultures Support cultural celebrations, school performances, and special events Collaborate with classroom teachers on interdisciplinary learning opportunities Participate in school events and professional development activities Qualifications Fluent Mandarin speaker Strong English communication skills Experience working with children required Teaching experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Education, Foreign Language, or related field preferred Passion for language, culture, and education Montessori experience is a plus but not required Positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude Must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation & Benefits $25-$30 per hour based on experience and qualifications Summer and Holiday Bonus Opportunities Professional Development Opportunities Supportive and Mission-Driven School Culture Beautiful Nature-Based Campus Opportunity to Help Shape a Growing Language Program Why Join LIFE?
