Your Role:

Teach Mandarin to elementary students (grades K-6) in a fun, immersive, and engaging way using Montessori approach (training available). Manage teaching a Multi-age classroom and Multi-language levels. Design creative, hands-on lessons that connect language with real life. Familiar with Montessori philosophy. (training provided) Collaborate with other teachers on meaningful, cross-cultural projects using Montessori approach. Use tech tools (like Google Docs , Microsoft office and our school's Software) for communication and curriculum planning. Design our Mandarin language program in alignment with ACTFL standards. Organize Chinese Cultral celebrations, Events & Fieldtrips. Coordinate Chinese performance for our two school performances. Participate in our school Teacher Professional Development.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, foreign language or a related field Experience teaching Mandarin to non-native speakers (preferably in the U.S.) Strong spoken and written English skills A kind, respectful, and flexible approach to children Passion for Mandarin language, Chinese culture, and creative teaching Familiarity with Montessori or project-based learning is a big plus! Loves to be outdoors and incorporate gardening in teaching. Willing to learn and grow.
