The department is home to the disciplines of communication, humanities, journalism, philosophy, religious studies, and world languages, including American Sign Language. Our cadre of highly accomplished faculty not only prepare students for proficiency in their prospective fields, but also to be effective and engaged citizens who think critically. Position Description Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in GERMAN who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Required Experience None Specified. Required Education To qualify to teach GERMAN, applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in the teaching discipline or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in German. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Previous teaching experience, including online instruction, is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach GERMAN at the collegiate level:

• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
• Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations, etc None Specified.

Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).
