The right fit for this position is a person of strong Christian faith looking to join a community of educators living out their calling the educate the youth academically and help them grow spiritually. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for a new language, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare students for higher education and future careers. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment that supports diverse student needs. Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons in the Spanish language Incorporate modern learning technology and instructional design techniques to enhance student understanding and participation. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive environment conducive to learning. Mentor students academically and personally, offering guidance on coursework, college preparation, and career pathways. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and extracurricular activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance data; contribute to school reporting requirements. Experience Proven classroom experience teaching at multiple levels. Experience with curriculum development and instructional design tailored for diverse learner populations. Familiarity with learning technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, online platforms for tutoring or virtual classrooms. Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior management strategies that foster a respectful learning environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor students effectively while collaborating with colleagues and parents.
