Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling teaching opportunity as a bilingual English & Spanish educator for junior high students in a supportive classroom environment. This contract role is ideal for professionals who bring experience with older students and a commitment to making a lasting impact in the lives of young learners. As a bilingual teacher, you will guide classes of 20 or fewer students, fostering an environment where diverse learners feel seen, supported, and motivated to succeed. The focus is on student growth and individualized attention, with a community that values educational consistency and aims for enduring relationships with its educators.
Key Qualifications:
Professional Educator License (PEL) required Demonstrated bilingual fluency in English and Spanish—verbal and written Prior teaching experience at the junior high or high school level Track record of career consistency, preferably in educational settings Dedication to a student-centered approach with flexibility to adapt instruction to individual needs
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in both English and Spanish to students in grades 6-8 Cultivate a supportive classroom ambiance with a strong emphasis on student growth and success Design and adapt curriculum to meet a variety of learning styles and backgrounds Monitor individual progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement Engage in collaborative professional development and maintain communication with families Enjoy teaching in a setting that appreciates your passion for education, values your experience, and empowers you to positively influence students' academic journeys. This contract runs from August 17, 2026, to June 2, 2027, with 33.75 hours onsite per week.
