Position starts August 3, 2026 ORION Education & Training Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Teaching Certification High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree Student support Organizational skills Adult education Full Job Description Part-Time ESOL Teacher - South Wichita ESOL experience is required. Bilingual candidates are preferred, but not required. 4:00 - 8:00 pm., Monday & Wednesday Evenings ORION Education and Training an opening for a Part-Time Teacher , with a focus on ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). This roles provide instructional, academic, and classroom support to help ensure the efficient operation of the Diploma Completion Program. Teachers will provide direct instruction and support students working on-site, in class, and online as they work toward earning their high school diploma. To be successful in this role, the Teacher must work closely with students and staff while providing encouragement, guidance, academic instruction, and support. Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction and academic support to students Monitor, assess, and document student progress Support students with assignment completion, tutoring, and individualized learning plans Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment Minimum Qualifications/Education Bachelor's Degree Valid Kansas Teaching License Experience Experience working with non-traditional learners Experience with adult education, diploma completion, or alternative education programs preferred Technology Skills G Suite applications Digital literacy File management Learning Management System (LMS) operation Other Skills Strong communication and organizational skills Self-regulation and problem-solving abilities Creative and independent thinking Ability to motivate and encourage diverse learners Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Schedule 4:00-8:00 p.m., Monday and Wednesday evenings
