Aug 31, 2026 Job Description- To provide English Language development instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing that appropriately aligns with students' needs, WIDA standards, and Massachusetts grade level standards
- To continually assess students' English Language Proficiency in order to drive student focused instruction
- To maintain data from a variety of sources on individual students' English Language Proficiency, demographic information, and academic progress
- To monitor English Learner student progress in all settings
- To administer ACCESS assessments and analyze students' progress
- To review student records and educational histories in order to develop and maintain ELL Student profiles and goals for obtaining English Language and Academic Proficiencies
- To communicate with parents and guardians and staff about student placement and progress
- To provide outreach and work closely with families of ELLs
- To attend and participate in school meetings involving English Learners
- To regularly collaborate with content teachers and begin implementing co-teaching models and strategies
- To participate in ELL Department Professional Development and meetings and attend monthly MVRHS faculty meetings
