Position Summary Holton Arms School seeks an Upper School Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Beyond the classroom, expectations include fulfilling assigned duties as required; communicating effectively with students and parents; and working collaboratively with other World Languages teachers in the department and division colleagues and administrators. Teachers serve as advisors, mentors, and role models responsible for preserving a positive learning environment and the well-being of all of our students, committing to academic excellence, and supporting our Global Education and Diversity institutional priorities. Qualifications & Experiences A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or Spanish, with a graduate degree preferred Experience teaching at the upper school level, preferably at an all-girls school. Understanding or growing knowledge of competency-based teaching and learning Experience embedding Social and Emotional Learning, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, and Global Competencies into their curriculum Global travel experience is preferred Understands language learning as an integral component of global competence Believes language learning is something everyone can do Commitment to continued professional learning Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community members with a continuous focus on healthy relationship building. Salary & Benefits The average salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000, the exact salary to be determined based on education and experience. We use a step scale to determine teacher salary. Additional stipends are available for coaching, certain club sponsorship and significant commitments outside of the classroom.
