On-site at a partner school (varies by assignment)
Schedule:
1-4 hours per week, after school
Program Length:
~10 weeks

Rolling openings based on school schedules
Compensation:
$50+ per instructional hour (flexible based on experience, program, and commute) About the Role Concorde Education is seeking a Spanish Instructor to lead engaging after-school programs for students. This role focuses on building foundational Spanish language skills through interactive, communication-based instruction. Instructors will guide students through speaking, listening, and vocabulary development while introducing cultural topics in an accessible, age-appropriate way. Programs are designed for beginner-level learners, with flexibility based on grade level and site needs. What You'll Teach Students will learn introductory Spanish through active participation and real-world communication.
Topics may include:
Greetings, introductions, and everyday phrases Numbers, dates, and basic conversational language High-frequency vocabulary (school, family, food, hobbies) Listening and speaking through games, role-play, and dialogue Basic sentence structure and simple grammar patterns Cultural topics from Spanish-speaking countries (traditions, food, music, geography) Responsibilities Lead structured, engaging Spanish language sessions aligned to program goals Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation Adapt instruction for different skill levels and confidence levels Emphasize speaking and listening through interactive activities Communicate with program staff regarding attendance and session updates Support a culminating activity or demonstration of student learning (if applicable) Qualifications Minimum of 60 college credits (completed or in progress) Proficiency in Spanish (ability to model pronunciation and basic instruction) Experience working with students (schools, camps, tutoring, or youth programs) Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Who This Role Is Great For Spanish teachers and education majors College students studying Spanish or related fields Bilingual professionals and native speakers Tutors and instructors who enjoy working with youth About Concorde Education Concorde Education partners with schools nationwide to provide engaging after-school programs in STEM, arts, and enrichment topics.
