Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher for grades 4-8 to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters students' language skills and cultural understanding utilizing a Waldorf approach to education. This position requires a strong commitment to student success, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with Waldorf approach and curriculum standards and promote language acquisition. Facilitate engaging classroom activities that encourage student participation and collaboration. Assess student progress through in class activities and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Utilize instructional design principles to create effective teaching materials and resources. Collaborate with fellow educators in education administration tasks, contributing to curriculum development and school initiatives. Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation. Utilize restorative practices to manage disciplinary issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Strong proficiency in the Spanish language, both written and spoken. Experience in instructional design and familiarity with various teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills with a focus on mentoring and supporting students' academic growth. Ability to engage students through innovative teaching techniques that incorporate technology and multimedia resources.
