State Teacher Salary + [10.5% - 18% local supplement]
Position Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher provides specialized instruction for the purposes of developing English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while utilizing appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies considering the English learners' current proficiency levels. The ESL teacher serves as a school resource by providing classroom teachers with support and information specific to English Language Learners (ELLs).
Minimum Degree Level:
Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay)
Alternative Licensed Pathways:
If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.
Qualifications:
