Part-Time High School Spanish Teacher - Therapeutic Boarding School, 5-6 hours per week

Black Mountain Academy About Black Mountain Academy Black Mountain Academy is a year-round therapeutic boarding school supporting neurodiverse high school students —primarily assigned male at birth—in building academic, social, emotional, and life skills . Our relationship-based, hands-on learning approach empowers students to grow, explore, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. We specialize in helping adolescents who experience challenges related to learning differences, social skills, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Our students are often diagnosed with: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 ("high functioning autism" / "Asperger's") Social-Pragmatic Communication Disorder Executive Functioning Disorder ADHD Anxiety or Depression Our mission is to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning while helping each student build the skills and self-efficacy they need to succeed. Position Overview We're seeking a Part-Time High School Spanish Teacher who is passionate about experiential learning and supporting students with learning differences . You'll join a close-knit, compassionate team dedicated to creating engaging lessons that connect language learning to real-world experiences.
