Bilingual (Spanish/English) Computer Instructor

Under the general supervision of the Director for Multicultural Workforce Development & Outreach, the applicant must demonstrate mastery in the areas of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint and must be fluent in Spanish. Ensures that all necessary documents are kept current and delivered in a timely manner Ensures that accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom Prepares and updates materials/outlines for adult learning styles Performs other job-related duties as assigned Confidentiality is extremely imperative. Brunswick Community College follows FERPA guidelines Must be able to teach: Computer applications MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Evaluate/test students, either formally or informally to determine student's progression. Design and teach various computer courses for adults. Create course outlines, write instructions, review handouts. Prepare room and computers for use before each class. Assure that the computer equipment is properly used. Focused on student success Performs other related duties as assigned. Have an Associate's degree.
