In this role, you will design engaging lessons, foster a supportive classroom environment, and utilize innovative learning technologies to help students achieve their language goals. Whether working with children or adults, you'll play a vital part in empowering individuals to communicate confidently in English and Spanish while promoting cultural understanding and academic growth. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to diverse learner needs, including those with special education requirements or learning disabilities Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate modern learning technology and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and provide feedback Prepare students for standardized tests and assessments through targeted tutoring and practice sessions Adapt teaching strategies for working with individuals with disabilities or special needs, ensuring accessibility and support Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and integrating library or childcare services when applicable Qualifications Proven classroom experience teaching ESL or Spanish across various age groups and settings, including private schools or Montessori environments Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math integration, and behavior management techniques Skilled in lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment design aligned with educational standards Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and methods for working with students with disabilities or special education needs Excellent communication skills to engage students effectively and collaborate with parents or guardians Writing skills necessary for creating instructional materials, reports, and progress documentation Prior experience in tutoring or providing private instruction is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your teaching expertise transforms lives through language!
