The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for the Spanish language and its diverse cultures, along with a commitment to fostering a communicative and inclusive classroom environment. You will be responsible for teaching Spanish at various levels (Novice through Advanced), helping students develop proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Key Responsibilities Instructional Excellence:

Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with ACTFL World-Readiness Standards.

Cultural Integration:

Incorporate authentic materials to provide students with a holistic understanding of the German-speaking world.

Assessment:

Utilize both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the World Languages Department to align curriculum and share best practices.

Student Engagement:

Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages risk-taking and participation. Work with our Middle School to build a 8-12 German program.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelors degree in German, Secondary Education, or a related field.

Certification:

Valid New Hampshire State Certification in German or eligibility for immediate certification.

Proficiency:

Near-native fluency in both German and English.
