Immediately Job Description Glassboro Public Schools is currently a Spanish Teacher at Bowe Elementary School for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position begins September 1, 2026. Instruct students in Groups, using various teaching methods such as Lectures, Discussions and Demonstrations to enhance their communication and understanding of the Spanish language Encourage students to practice vocabularies learned and assist students in accurately listening, speaking, writing and reading Spanish Incorporate relevant Experience with Knowledge of Instructional Strategies and Classroom Practices for Spanish curriculum Utilize working Experience with Curricular Planning and Implementation

Minimum Requirements:

State of NJ Certification (1550 - Teacher of Spanish) Required Extensive knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and of pedagogy Ability to Work with a Diverse Population, Including Experience with ESL Students Ability to establish great communication with students, families and colleagues Successful Completion of Fingerprinting and Criminal History Review Process

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a ten (10) month position with salary and contract terms to be negotiated with the Superintendent and the Board of Education.

EVALUATION

Performance in this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
