World Language Teacher .80French/.20 Spanish MS (Grades 5-8) for 2023-2024 South Colonie Central School District Job Category Academic-Teaching Overview Description World Language Teacher Middle School Level .80 French/.20 Spanish (Grades 5-8) for 2023-2024. Position will be Probationary for candidates who hold dual certification in French and Spanish.
Start Date:
September 1, 2023
Salary and Benefits:
According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule I, Step 1 or $54,244.00 depending on experience and transcripts.
Job Qualifications General Requirements:
Our ideal candidates should have: World Language-French Teacher with appropriate NYS Dual Certification. NYS Dual Certification in French and Spanish preferred. Teaching experience and familiarity with middle school students. Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal. Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
