Spanish Teacher for 0-12 yrs old kids

Job description: Raft Trilingual Montessori School is seeking a passionate and engaging Part-Time Spanish Teacher to introduce Spanish language and culture to children from infants through age 12 . This role focuses on creating a fun, immersive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where students can develop early language skills through songs, stories, games, and interactive activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, values multicultural education, and can adapt teaching methods to different age groups. As an important member of our educational team, you will help foster curiosity, communication skills, and cultural appreciation in a nurturing Montessori-inspired setting. Responsibilities Develop engaging Spanish lessons appropriate for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children . Create an immersive language-learning environment using songs, storytelling, games, movement, and hands-on activities . Adapt lesson plans to different developmental stages and learning styles. Encourage early literacy, listening comprehension, and conversational Spanish skills. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate Spanish language exposure into daily activities. Maintain a positive, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with Montessori educational principles . Monitor and support students' language development through informal observation and feedback. Participate in occasional curriculum planning and school activities that promote multicultural learning. Qualifications Native or fluent Spanish speaker . Experience working with young children (infant, toddler, preschool, or elementary age) preferred. Passion for early childhood education and language learning. Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities that support language acquisition. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Experience with Montessori education or child-centered learning approaches is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, Linguistics, or related field preferred but not required.

Schedule Part-time position:

10-20 hours per week Flexible weekday schedule Growth Opportunity This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position as the program grows.
