Working with engaged students, supportive families, and dedicated colleagues, the ideal candidate will relish being a joyful presence in the lives of young people, creating student-centered learning experiences that emphasize communication, curiosity, and cultural competence. Primary Job Responsibilities Teach a full course load of five sections (or equivalent) across grades 212, fostering students language proficiency while cultivating an appreciation for the cultures, histories, and perspectives of the Spanish-speaking world. Co-advise a small group of Middle or Upper School students in support of their academic, social, and emotional development. Participate as a facilitator or co-facilitator in the Middle and Upper School Clubs program during the school day. Work collaboratively with colleagues across divisions and departments, fostering teamwork and cooperation among faculty, staff, and administration. Requirements Native or near-native fluency in Spanish A bachelor's degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field is required; master's degree preferred At least two years of classroom teaching experience is preferred A demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices, responsiveness to diverse learners, and a willingness to participate fully in the life of the school Key Skills and Qualities Experience with proficiency-based language instruction Familiarity with educational technology, including
