Job Description
Spanish Exploradores is hiring part-time Spanish Enrichment Instructors for after-school programs in the Haverford Township, Radnor, Colonial, Great Valley, and West Chester School Districts for the 2026-2027 school year. Are you passionate about teaching Spanish to young children through movement, music, storytelling, and interactive activities? We are seeking engaging, energetic Spanish-speaking instructors who enjoy working with elementary-aged students in fun, structured enrichment settings. About the Role This position focuses on delivering Spanish immersion enrichment classes at local schools and community programs in the afternoons. Classes are designed to be highly interactive, helping children absorb Spanish naturally through play, repetition, and guided activities. Instructors are provided with structured curriculum and lesson plans, allowing them to focus on delivering engaging instruction and supporting student learning. What You'll Do Lead Spanish immersion enrichment classes for children (K-5th) Teach using provided curriculum, lesson plans, and activity materials Facilitate songs, games, movement activities, and crafts in Spanish Create a fun, structured, and positive classroom environment Manage student behavior using clear expectations and routines Travel to assigned program locations in the region Work independently while following established program structure Program Locations Classes are held at partner schools and community sites in the following locations: Havertown Ardmore Bryn Mawr Plymouth Meeting Conshohocken Malvern Exton West Chester Philadelphia Assignments vary based on instructor availability and program demand. Schedule & Hours Part-time, school-year position Approximately 1-10 hours per week (varies by schedule and location) Weekday afternoons (typically 3:00-5:00 PM) Flexible scheduling based on availability Additional hours may be available for instructors who take on multiple locations or classes.
