Your responsibilities include teaching in a classroom and preparing lesson plans for the class. Your duties revolve around following a curriculum laid out by the school or creating a curriculum based on the needs of the students. You typically teach novice students who have little or no previous exposure to Spanish, so you need to make simple lessons that teach them the fundamentals of Spanish. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives Develop engaging instructional materials utilizing current learning technology and multimedia resources Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations Provide personalized tutoring and academic advising to support diverse learner needs Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a positive learning environment Incorporate principles of literacy education, linguistics, and creative writing into lessons to enhance language proficiency Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and educational best practices Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports Mentor students in their language development journey while encouraging cultural awareness and appreciation
