This is a mobile, field-based role combining: Classroom teaching (day programs + afterschool) Instructional leadership support Coaching support for other teachers Light administrative and materials coordination This role is ideal for an experienced educator who: Loves working with children (K-8) Wants meaningful part-time work Is comfortable teaching and leading Has a flexible weekday schedule Is not seeking temporary or placeholder work This is not a corporate training role. This is not an adult education role. This is hands-on, K-8 classroom instruction in real school environments. Position Overview 15-20 hours per week Primarily weekday availability required between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some afterschool coverage may occur Schedule varies by school and coverage needs This role requires flexibility and mobility throughout Metro Atlanta. ResponsibilitiesInstruction Teach Spanish in K-8 day programs and afterschool programs Carry at least 2-3 consistent teaching days per week Provide substitute coverage when needed Deliver structured, engaging language instruction Maintain strong classroom management and presence Coaching & Support Support teacher quality across sites Conduct classroom observations Provide feedback and instructional guidance Assist with onboarding new teachers Administrative & Field Support Assist with lesson planning and materials preparation Manage and transport teaching materials as needed Support inventory at company office (South Fulton) Communicate professionally with school administrators Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications 3+ years classroom teaching experience (K-12 required) At least 1 year teaching a second/foreign language Strong classroom management Experience working with children (K-8 preferred) Fluent or near-fluent Spanish proficiency Strong professional English communication skills Reliable transportation Comfort traveling across Metro Atlanta Candidates with only corporate training or adult instruction experience will not be considered. Mobility & Mileage Policy This is a field-based role serving multiple Metro Atlanta regions.
