Our free service matches candidates with roles that align with their skills, experience, and goals. We work closely with each educator to help them find a school where they can thrive. We are currently seeking Spanish Teachers starting in Fall 2026 for leave replacement and part-time opportunities at independent schools in Providence, RI.
Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:
Teach several Spanish courses at various proficiency levels for middle or upper school students. Collaborate with world language department staff to improve and expand curriculum. Teach Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods. Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior. Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education. Serve as an advisor to students, providing guidance and support to ensure student success.
Spanish Teacher Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred. Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish. 2-3 years of previous teaching experience. No teaching license or credential is required. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community. Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities.
