The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a strong background in Spanish and a commitment to helping students grow as confident and capable language learners. This full-time position includes teaching Spanish levels I-IV in grades 9-12, as well as elective courses. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for differentiating instruction, engaging students in second language acquisition, and fostering a collaborative, student-centered classroom environment. In addition, candidates should be eager to work with colleagues to design and implement evidence-based instructional practices, provide individualized academic and mentoring support, and contribute to the broader school community through advisory, extracurricular involvement, and/or committee work. Currey Ingram Academy is a co-ed, college-preparatory day and boarding school (JK-12 for day; 9-12 for boarding) located in beautiful Brentwood, TN. Bachelor's or advanced degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field. Proficiency in Spanish. Preference given to candidates with prior teaching experience, particularly at the high school level.
