2026-2027 Elementary Arabic Instructional Support

The Arabic Instructional Support role provides direct instructional and classroom support to Arabic teachers and students in both the Elementary and Middle/High School divisions. This position enhances the Arabic language learning environment by assisting in lesson delivery, supervising students, supporting classroom management, and helping implement engaging and culturally responsive instructional practices aligned with the school's mission and Islamic values. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstructional Support

• Assist Arabic teachers with lesson preparation, materials organization, and classroom setup.
• Support differentiated instruction for students with varying language proficiency levels.
• Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce lessons and promote language acquisition.
• Supervise students during independent work, transitions, and designated non-instructional times.
• Substitute for Arabic teachers as needed. Program Support
• Assist with Arabic language events, celebrations, and competitions.
• Help maintain accurate student progress records and documentation.
• Support Arabic literacy initiatives, including reading, writing, and speaking activities.
• Collaborate with Arabic department staff to enhance curriculum delivery. Professionalism and Collaboration
• Participate in department and faculty meetings as required.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with staff, students, and parents.
• Uphold confidentiality and reflect Islamic values in all interactions. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Education, Linguistics, or related field (preferred).
• Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (required); strong English communication skills.
• Experience in classroom instruction or language support preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Core Competencies

Pay:

From $30,000.00 per year
