Job Description

Part-Time Middle School Spanish Teacher Our Savior Lutheran School is seeking a passionate, engaging Spanish teacher to join our Christ-centered school community for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position includes teaching Spanish to students in grades 5-8. Classes meet one 45-minute period per week for Grade 5 and two 45-minute periods per week for Grades 6-8. The ideal candidate enjoys working with middle school students, creates interactive and engaging lessons, and is excited to share both the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures with students. Responsibilities Teach Spanish to students in grades 5-8. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Assess student progress and communicate with families as needed. Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment. Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to support the Christian mission and values of Our Savior Lutheran School.
