Job Description

Astar Education Institute has an immediate opening for an on-site ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructor for our partner in Manassas, VA. Bilingual candidates are welcome! •Classes are face-to-face•for a group of about 14 students. Schedule is 3 days per week (specific days and class times are semi-flexible).
Essential Functions:
Facilitate ESL classes at specified times and locations in accordance with the students' level of language skill Maintain complete student records, attendance, grades and progress reports Create lesson plans based upon our curriculum that incorporate consistent improvement in all areas of language skills. Administer quizzes and exams to students
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Education, English or similar field
OR TESOL
certification preferred Prior ESL teaching experience Ability to teach in a multi-leveled classroom Ability to engage and motivate students Ability to tailor activities and lesson plans to individual learners

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
