We believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel secure and can gain confidence in their own abilities. At WorldKids School we are teaching in an "Immersion" learning environment focused on Spanish and Mandarin. Children in total immersion program work toward total fluency in the foreign language. In addition, in a full foreign language immersion program, children have an opportunity to pro-actively use and rehearse foreign language in a challenging, intimate, emotionally supportive environment that stimulates all their senses. WorldKids School also provides extended daycare and childcare in addition to our language immersion programs. WorldKids School® is a vibrant, inclusive community where children, families, and educators from diverse backgrounds come together to share cultures and develop a strong sense of global awareness. We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 2 months to 6 years, where they can grow with confidence and joy. Position Summary We are seeking dynamic and energetic teachers who are passionate about early childhood education. The ideal candidate is a Fluent-level speaker of the program's language and has prior preschool teaching experience. Teachers at WorldKids School® create meaningful, play-based learning experiences that foster each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
  • WorldKids School® ensures that children are in a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment at all times.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging activities that promote holistic development.
  • Follow WorldKids School®'s curriculum to support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Teach in an immersion early childhood setting, supporting language and cultural learning.
  • Prepare and serve meals/snacks that meet children's nutritional needs.
  • WorldKids School® maintains a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and growth.
  • Document children's daily activities, progress, and milestones; communicate regularly with families via Tadpoles.
  • WorldKids School® follows all state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios at all times.
  • Conduct name-to-face attendance checks when transitioning children in and out of the classroom or during outdoor activities.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school events as required.
  • Support a positive, inclusive classroom culture aligned with WorldKids School® values.
  • Follow lunch and meal break schedules.
  • Support classroom management by establishing consistent routines and positive behavior guidance strategies. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or sit on the floor for extended periods.
  • Frequent transitions between standing, sitting, and floor positions.
  • Ability to lift and carry children (up to 40-50 lbs.) and classroom equipment/furniture.
  • Fine motor skills for tasks such as tying shoes, handling art supplies, and managing small objects.
  • Gross motor skills to actively engage in play, including running, climbing, and dancing. Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Fluency in the program's language (Spanish) (required).
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a childcare or early learning setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to complete all trainings required by the State.
