The sixty-acre campus is located in Kirkland, Washington, just ten miles from downtown Seattle. The campus is an ideal setting for study, recreation, and inspiration and is centrally located and convenient to industry, business, and commercial activities. Northwest University's (NU) Center for English Language Education (CELE) is seeking adjunct ESL professors to teach 1-2 ESL classes for international students at our main campus in Kirkland, WA beginning in the Fall 2026 Semester (August 25th - December 18th). CELE is NU's intensive English program that serves both degree and non-degree seeking ESL students wanting to improve their English skills. Instructors need to prepare and deliver lessons, utilize Moodle CMS, Microsoft 365, and textbook online platforms, give appropriate feedback, and submit grades in a timely matter. Teachers in our CELE program are expected to attend bi-monthly teacher meetings to the best of their abilities.
