Position description The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior is seeking to fill part-time Lecturer positions for the academic year 2026-2027 in the following areas:
  • Cell biology
  • Biochemistry
  • Genetics
  • Biology of organ systems
  • Brain dysfunction and repair
  • Disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinsonism, schizophrenia, and depression Examples of the curricular programs can be found at: UC Irvine Department of Neurobiology and Behavior
  • Department of NB&B focuses include learning and memory, age-related neurodegenerative disorders, sensory and integrative neuroscience, neuronal development, neurocomputation, etc.
The successful candidate will have an extensive academic background, previous teaching experience and an advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) contributing to the areas of need for this program.
