Full Time Biology Faculty with Rank

Position Summary:

Full-time faculty with rank position in Biology with faculty responsibilities for teaching undergraduate science students along with the assumption of other duties commensurate with full-time faculty status.

Rank and Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions Effectively teaches knowledge, skills, and Christian values related to course objectives in the classroom and laboratory. Capable and willing to teach a spectrum of biology courses from ecology through various organismal courses, anatomy and physiology, cell biology, and research methods. Actively participating in serving as an advisor for students' scholarly capstone projects. Candidates with past research experience and a desire to lead undergraduate research are highly sought.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Required - Master's degree and training, experience, and comfort in some aspect or aspects of organismal biology. Highly preferred - Doctorate with a minimum of 30 graduate quarter hours or 18 graduate semester hours earned in biology.

Work related experience:

Evidence of teaching effectiveness is required. The individual filling this position must be an active Christian, fully supportive of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and the goals and objectives of the institution. The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach from both Christian and naturalistic worldviews and set a Christian example for students.
