19 Hours Per Week Help for . Ability to teach in an effective and competent manner in the South Service Area Campus location of Marble Falls.
Education and Experience :
Masters degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the field being taught.
A copy of college transcripts required with application. One year of teaching experience in science preferred.
Adjunct (part-time), semester-based employment with compensation based on course load and institutional pay schedule.

Ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.
Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.

Ability to learn various software systems and use educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
Essential Functions:
Conducting classroom instruction at the highest possible level of efficiency and interest for students.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in compliance with college policies; submit certification rolls require by the Central Texas College Registrar office by submission due date.
Advise students of attendance and withdrawal procedures as explained in the current CTC Catalog.
Meet every scheduled class on time and to keep the class for the entire class period.
Notify the Area Supervisor immediately if it is necessary to be absent from class so that a substitute can be obtained.
Maintained textbooks, manuals, etc. furnished by the college in order to return to the Area Supervisor at the completion of the semester.
Issue each student at the beginning of each semester and approved course syllabus that communicates in writing the specific objectives, requirements, and methods of evaluating academic performance.
Performance will be given for applicants who can instruct in more than one discipline.
Must live in area where classes are taught, or willing to travel to class location at own expense.
