Adjunct Professor in BiologyAdjunct Professor in BiologyTexas Lutheran University invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Biology starting Aug 2026. This part time faculty member will teach
BIOL 140
lectures and
BIOL 140L
labs for Basic Biology, a non-majors biology course, in a Face-to-face modality.

Qualified applicants will have the following:

Master's degree (minimum) in Biology or a related fieldEvidence of effective teaching and commitment to excellence and innovation in teachingTeaching experience in a lab settingAbility to work collegially with other faculty members and staff in the department and across campusGeneral familiarity and comfort using computers. Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Ability to learn software which might be new, such as course management software like Brightspace/Desire2Learn. To be fully considered for this position, each candidate should submit the following materials:
