This is a part-time position, working .60 FTE (Perm) View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Candidates need to have teaching experience at the high school level working with high-risk youth and diverse populations. Candidates must possess strong collaborative classroom management skills along with the ability to differentiate instruction in the classroom. To motivate reluctant learners, the candidate must be dynamic and compassionate. It is desired that candidates possess a working knowledge of alternative education teaching and classroom management strategies. NVIS encourages all teachers to become involved and participate in the school community, including leading professional development based on curricular strengths. Candidates must be CLAD certified or be qualified to obtain an Emergency CLAD permit. The successful candidates believe they can inspire academic and personal growth that prepares students for success in life. Credential Copy Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 required) Resume Single Subject Teaching Credential - Other (Credentialed based on having a Bachelor's degree and completing student teaching.)
